Vueling to operate more flights from Hamburg to Spain

Spain's Vueling airline is to operate twice-daily flights from Hamburg Airport to Barcelona from March and to Bilbao from next July. Coupled with the airline's existing direct flight to Paris-Orly, the additional flights mark a 60 per cent increase of its offers from Hamburg Airport.

"Many north Germans are now planning their next air trip. We are delighted that Vueling is expanding its commitment from Hamburg and making Spain, a popular holiday destination, even more accessible to our passengers," said Dirk Behrens, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport. The additional flights to Barcelona in summer reflect the great demand for sunny holiday destinations.

Destinations

Daily flights to Barcelona will be operated from March while Bilbao will be served on Mondays and Fridays from July 3, 2023. Vueling also flies to Paris-Orly three times a week. Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft are to be used on all three routes.
