Miniaturwunderland's captivating new image movie
Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg’s Speicherstadt is home to the world’s largest model railway and a matching landscape that is unique worldwide in terms of precision and detailing. Wunderland was voted Germany’s most popular tourist attraction in 2017 in a survey conducted by the German National Tourist Board. Located on the Elbe, this veritable wunder is just a stone’s throw from the Elbphilharmonie.

This official video shows only part of the miniature world. More than 1,000 self-propelled trains and over 250 automatically controlled model cars travel along a huge 1,500m² model area with nine sections. Over 40 aircraft take off and land 250 times a day at Knuffingen Airport, the world’s largest miniature airport. More than 265,000 figures populate the Miniatur Wunderland. Sections including Monaco and Provence in France are to be supplemented by 2020.
