Hamburg has 834 charging stations and more than in any other German city, according to the Federal Association of Energy and Water Management (BDEW). Over 16,100 charging stations in Germany
“The energy industry is creating the infrastructure for an ecological traffic turn. In the last six months alone, there has been an increase of 20 per cent to over 16,100 loading points. Most energy suppliers are already active in electric mobility with charging points, services or even holistic mobility concepts, or are planning to do so. They are investing in the future and making a decisive contribution to ensuring that the switch to climate-friendly vehicles makes progress,” said Stefan Kapferer, Chairman of the BDEW Board of Management.
