Hamburg is model region of the new "Mobil.Pro.Fit.®“ project

Enterprises are supported in their corporate mobility management. Company fleets, business travel, and commuting of employees to be environmentally-friendly optimised

The application period for Mobil.Pro.Fit.® has started, and companies are invited to register for the model project. The nationwide pilot project initiated by the German Working Group for Environmental Management (B.A.U.M.) supports companies in the implementation of a sustainable mobility strategy. Next to the corporate fleet, the employees’ way to work and the mobility of business travels is being analysed in order to develop strategies for a sustainable efficient and climate-friendly mobility that are custom-tailored to the companies’ needs.

Each destination easily accessible

To easily and instantly reach each destination in the Hamburg Hamburg Metropolitan Region with the city’s interconnected means of transport is the main target – whether on foot, by bicycle, train, bus or car, thus the Hamburg Ministry of the Economy, Transport and Innovation. “A dedicated mobility management ensures the mobility required by companies, while simultaneously creating positive effects for mankind and the environment. This means a concrete contribution to the sustainable development of the company”, explains Dieter Brübach, CEO of B.A.U.M. In addition, the project, the project constitutes a link between local climate protection strategies and operational mobility requirements in regional networks

Regional network

By participating in the project, companies become a partner of a regional network. Headed by the Hamburg Ministry of the Economy, Transport and Innovation, co-operation partners include, inter alia, the Environment Partnership Hamburg, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Logistics Initiative Hamburg.
