The eighth Social Media Week Hamburg (SMWHH) launched Wednesday (February 27,2019) in Hamburg under the global theme “Stories – With Great Influence Comes Great Responsibility”. Topics on the agenda highlight the responsibility linked to digital communication for both professional and ordinary social media users.
Emphasis will also be on how New Work, Employer Branding and Storydoing in Recruitment are reviving the world of work for companies. The trend towards consumers actively entering partnerships with brands and communicating via social media is changing the relationship between brands and consumers. Media companies and their respective audiences have to adapt their consumption habits in view of the rapidly changing opportunities of virtual and augmented reality.
