On Thursday, June 4, 2015, some 40 founders, visionaries and creators of the future of business, science and politics, will meet at Harburg’s new cultural centre in a former port warehouse to discuss innovation processes, strategies, and future-oriented technologies. From young startups to medium-sized firms or large corporations, all are welcome to experience innovations of the future live and to set new impulses. Patron of the newly launched HHIS will be Hamburg’s First Mayor Olaf Scholz.
h2. Business meets Science
HHIS visitors are invited to experience next generation gadgets and technologies at the fair Tomorrow’s Tech Today (3t-Expo), which will focus on virtual reality, smart technology, and 3D printing. For one day, it will be all about knowledge relevant to the technology of tomorrow. Independent experts will showcase latest innovations, and all visitors will be able to test new products and try them hands-on.
Interactive Bar Camp
Parallel, an interactive bar camp will be held, with the content of the meeting being determined by the participants themselves. Starting with a vote on slots and schedule, “Technology and Innovation Hamburg” will be discussed in open sessions. In the evening, the Hamburg Innovation Awards will honour outstanding start-up concepts in three categories, i.e. idea, start, and growth. The day will be rounded off by the HHIS party at the newly renovated, historic warehouse in the port of Harburg.
