Our latest Future Hamburg Talk highlights how one of world’s leading metal recyclers, European Metal Recycling (EMR), operates. How does it retrieve scrap metal from ships, cars and batteries and what makes Hamburg an ideal trading hub?

Murat Bayram, Managing Director of EMR, is our latest interviewee and gives insight into the company's work and his personal aspirations. EMR operates several metal recycling sites in Germany and the United States among others. The company now hopes to convert its production to sustainable drives in the long-term.

Bayram tells our interviewer Marilena Berends about his optimistic outlook on the future.
