Two maritime conventions are among the fair highlights in May. The events get underway with the arrival of more than 300 vessels for the 828th Port of Hamburg Anniversary celebrations from May 5-7, 2017 with around 200 events. The festivities in Hamburg mark one of the biggest harbour fests worldwide.
Hanseboot – small motorboats and luxurious yachts

Then, professionals, amateur sailors and newcomers to the five-star ancora marina are invited to take a closer look at around 150 boats and yachts. Visitors can look forward to an exciting on-shore programme with 80 pagoda tents in which exhibitors will present equipment, accessories and services for water sports with new products and bargains.
The FESPA Global Print Expo for the screen-printing, digital and textile printing community will be held from May 8-12, 2017 in Hamburg as well. Over 23,000 visitors from some 130 nations are expected to come together to discuss the latest products and technical innovations in printing. The European Sign Expo and Printeriors will also be held parallel to FESPA.
Shoe lovers can find all kinds of footwear at the “Al Bundy Schuhboerse” on May 12-13, 2017. The organisers buy up designer shoes from companies in liquidation or in financial difficulty all over Europe and pass on the price benefits to their customers.
The TransTech Hamburg focuses on car and motorcycle garages. More than 100 exhibitors, suppliers and partners will present their latest products and services for garages. The offers range from planning and equipping a garage to spare parts, services, car valeting, financial services and software.

This year’s fair will be held under the theme “Scandinavia – from the magic of precious stones, glacier and dinosaurs”.
