Preparations for Internorga 2017 are well underway. Next year’s event will be held from March 17-21 and has been shortened by one day. Over 1,300 exhibitors from 25 nations are expected in Hamburg’s fair grounds. The Next Chef Awards cooking competition and the Gastro Startup contest proved big hits this year and prompted organisers to repeat the events in 2017. Visitors can also look forward to fascinating insights at conferences where international experts will discuss current issues in the industry.
Expert audience at Next Chef Award
Just a year after its launch, the CRAFT BEER Arena saw almost double the number of exhibitors totalling 30 creative breweries. Many international breweries have discovered INTERNORGA as an ideal point of entry into the German and European markets and have made many new contacts at the fair. Thus, organisers are expecting growing interest in next year’s event. After a phenomenal debut this year, the Next Chef Awards cooking competition for innovative young chefs will return in 2017. The initiator of the competition, star-chef Johann Lafer, is already looking forward to challenging young culinary talents at the fair. The Next Chef Award gives them an opportunity to present their culinary delights to an expert audience and a top jury.
Baker‘s Blue Box & Trendforum Pink Cube
The Gastro Startup competition, organised in co-operation with the Leaders Club Germany, will return in 2017 after a successful debut. It offers young restaurateurs a platform for presenting their innovative concepts and launching on the gastronomy market.
Vistiors will be able to find many highlights both inside and outside the fair halls including the Newcomers’ Area, the Trendforum Pink Cube, the Café Future, the ICE CREAM World, the DEHOGA Forum, Baker‘s Blue Box, the BACK Stage and the Confectionary Art.
