All kinds of majestic ships are expected in the Port of Hamburg between September 1-10, 2017 for a host of maritime events. One of the highlights is likely to be Seatrade Europe – the continent’s leading convention for the cruise ship industry from September 6-8, 2017. The following is an overview of the most anticipated fairs this autumn:
Hanseboot – small motorboats and luxurious yachts
The second, spectacular maritime event is likely to be the hanseboot 2017 from October 28-November 5 presented by Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH. Then, professionals, amateur sailors and newcomers are invited to take a closer look at the latest products and water sports trends.
Hamburg Motor Classics
The Hamburg Motor Classics from October 13-15, 2017 targets collectors, admirers and potential buyers of classic cars. Well-known dealers, restorers and specialists in historic rare cars will showcase high-calibre oldtimers, motorcycles as well as parts and accessories. Financial experts and insurance consultants will be on hand to advise about potential purchases.
From valves to lightening protection
The Affordable Art Fair is likely to prove a magnet for art lovers, artists and gallery owners from November 16-19. The exhibits include paintings, sculptures and photos ranging from EUR 100 to EUR 7,500 in price. Days later, the Tank Storage Germany 2017 follows from November 29-30. Exhibitors at the fair for the petrol depot industry will focus on products ranging from valves to lightening protection.
Dinosaurs from Scandinavia
This year’s fairs conclude with Mineralien Hamburg from December 1-3. Last year, exhibitors from 35 nations presented gems and jewels from South America to some 20,000 visitors and the collection of German mineralogist Reinhard Anton Brauns (1861-1937) also went on show. This year’s fair will be held under the theme “Scandinavia – from the magic of precious stones, glacier and dinosaurs”.
