The celebrity chef Johann Lafer and Rimigio Poletto are also expected at the event.

Variety of delicacies

Visitors can taste all kinds of freshly prepared delicacies from unusual spreads, handmade chocolate, fish, meat and sausage specialities, cheese, oils, vinegars and spices to fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. A vast selection of wines, beers, lemonades and coffee will also be on offer.

Ideas for professions

Yet, Hamburg’s food market Hamburg is not merely a gourmet mile. Anyone planning a demanding, creative profession in the food industry can find plenty of information at the event. Dedicated chefs, trainers, vocational school teachers and apprentices will be available on a red kitchen truck to give in-depth advice about the profession and to arrange training places.
