The fifth edition of the 12min.COM Caps’N'Collars event gets underway in Hamburg on June 5, 2018 with emphasis on transport and logistics. The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg is seen as a leading logistics metropolis in northern Europe. The Caps’N'Collars events aims to bring the new and old economy together. Talks at the event last exactly 12 minutes and are followed by 12 minutes of questions from the audience.
Focus on e-commerce and new supply concepts
Thomas Blank of Kerry Logistics will highlight the impact of e-commerce on infrastructure while Dr. Julian Wulf, founder of Come in and drop off/Uniberry GmbH, will focus on new delivery concepts away from rush hour. A third speaker is also expected. The event is being held at the Chamber of Commerce’s Innovation Campus and will give participants plenty of time to network afterwards.
Innovation meets tradition
The 12min.me series of events has been held in Hamburg since October 2013. Meanwhile, several offshoots focusing on certain specialist areas including the Caps’N'Collars series have emerged. Launched in 2017 in co-operation with the Chamber of Commerce and the Hamburgische Investitions- und Förderbank (IFB), the network event regularly brings Hamburg’s dynamic start-up sector together with established companies in the city.
