Ufodrive opens car rental branch at Hamburg Airport

Six environment-friendly Tesla vehicles for reservation on website or per app

The Luxembourg-based start-up Ufodrive has opened a new car rental branch in Hamburg Airport’s P2-4 multi-storey car park. Passengers and visitors to Hamburg Airport can now rent a total of six electrically powered Tesla S models. Customers can rent them digitally on the Ufodrive website or per app and open the booking on their mobile phone.

From app, plane to rental car

The branch at the airport is Ufodrive’s third in Hamburg since it started operations in May 2018. “Hamburg is our first station in Germany and the third step in our planned expansion across Europe, following the successful launch of our services in Luxembourg and Brussels,” said Renaud Marquet, co-founder and COO of Ufodrive. The six Tesla S cars on offer are all fully powered by electricity and no CO2 whatsoever is emitted.

Innovative service

“At Hamburg Airport, the focus is on the use of innovative and climate-friendly services, which is why Ufodrive’s new offer is a perfect match for our airport,” said Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO of Hamburg Airport. “The Tesla models on offer give our passengers a very special driving experience while at the same time protecting the environment. I am sure that Ufodrive’s offer will be well received”.
