Hamburg Airport Reports 14,76 Million Passengers in 2014

9.3 per cent growth in passenger figures. New destinations added to the summer timetable 2015

Hamburg Airport enjoyed a 9.3 per cent growth in passenger figures last year. In total 14,76 million passengers arrived in or departed from Hamburg. Aircraft movements increased by seven per cent to 153,876. According to Flughafen Hamburg GmbH as operator of the airport, flight movements thus remained on 1997’s levels, where only eight million people used Hamburg Airport. The number of passengers per flight grew from 1997’s 71 guests to 107 passengers in 2014.
