Germania Introduces New Middle East Service To Tel Aviv

Second new destination in the Middle East after Iran's Mashhad serviced from Hamburg

Germania is the only operator of non-stop flights between two cities. With the new route, the airline is increasing its commitment in the Hanseatic city. Prior to Tel Aviv, also Marrakech had been added to the route network of Hamburg Airport, which has been served by Germania since November. Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO at Hamburg Airport: “We are delighted about the increased commitment by Germania, and glad about Tel Aviv returning to our network after five years of absence.” Tel Aviv is the second middle east destination serviced by Germany from Hamburg. On Monday, the carrier will take off from Hamburg with an Airbus A319 to Tel Aviv, on Wednesday to Mashhad (MHD) in Iran.
