Xing cracks 10 million mark

Network for professionals has over 10 million members in German-language region

Xing hit over 10 million members in March after reporting the “biggest growth in member numbers” in the company’s history for the 2015 business year in early January. Thomas Vollmoeller, CEO of Xing AG, said: “That means in terms of figures, every fifth professional in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is a member of Xing.”

200,000 new contact connections

Xing users are benefitting from the new, record member numbers, the company said. More than 1 million profiles are called up every day giving members great visibility in terms of their professional identities. Over 200,000 new contact connections allegedly emerge via the network every day. Also, users can interact in more than 70,000 groups. Xing has over 10.5 million cross-platform users in the core D-A-CH market.

Vollmoeller said: “We are delighted that more and more people find their daily professional lives are unthinkable without Xing. But we are not resting. We are working at high-pressure on expanding and improving our offers and to convince even more people of Xing.”
