The HWF Hamburg Business Development Corporation updated its database for industrial and commercial real estate. Redesigned in a fresh, contemporary look, it now offers an even wider range of properties, easily accessible by the new OpenImmo interface. Both offers listed in the past and new entries will now benefit from the enhanced and better visibility by the improved access. The relaunched platform will be officially launched on 1 October 2015 at www.hdb-hamburg.de.
Dr Rolf Strittmatter, managing director of HWF: “Sufficient affordable commercial space is a prerequisite for Hamburg’s economy to grow. To supply a company with the premises needed is thus a central task of business development, especially in a city like Hamburg. With the new HDB, it is now much easier to bring to bring both sides together: companies seeking properties, and providers of real estate.“
Consultancy on Location Planning
The HDB is the Hamburg’s online portal for industrial and commercial real estate and the city’s central showcase. It was developed and implemented by HWF’s real estate service to assist companies in finding suitable properties. The HDB provides an extensive overview of offers from owners, developers and renowned Hamburg brokerage houses.
The services range from the provision of appropriate office, hall, warehouse and commercial space via the database to additional office services and the support of companies that plan to build on their sites or search for plots to built or premises to use. In addition, brokers and private providers have the opportunity to offer their properties on the HDB.
Services for Skilled Trades and Crafts
Weekly specials will showcase the ever-changing potential of currently available plots and premises. In addition, the new HDB provides overviews of Hamburg’s numerous business centres and planned technology parks. Additional market and location information, events as well as details on average rents round off the range of services and information in regard to Hamburg’s industrial and commercial properties. The service offered by HDB is also custom-tailoured for crafts and skilled trade thanks to a special agreement with the Hamburg Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts in regard to strategic land management.
Dr. Rolf Strittmatter: “The skilled trades and crafts offer their services to the people of Hamburg. The city thus has the obligation to provide the conditions for this sector to unfold. We therefore support skilled trades and crafts in the search of premises to ensure that services and workplaces stay close to our people’s homes.” The HDB database for private commercial real estate was launched by tHWF in April 2009. In the eve of the co-operation with the Hamburg Chamber of Skilled Trades and Craft, it was expanded and updated last year, and adapted to for the use by mobile applications such as tablets and smartphones.
