New M.A. degree course "International Business" at HAW Hamburg

Strong international demand. Start at the winter term.

The first-class educational opportunities offered in Hamburg are increasingly also an important location factor in global competition. This also shows the high demand for the courses at the University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg), which will start an Master’s degree program in the field of international management held completely in English. Starting in the winter semester 2014/15, Bachelor graduates will be able to acquire the degree of “International Business” (M. Sc.). at HAW’s Department of Economics

International business in three semesters

The new Master’s program me “International Business” lasts three semesters. Interested parties should should already have basic skills in business administration and ideally possess some working experience abroad. The primary educational goal of the course it to gain the ability to solve complex business problems in an international context after theoretical modeling. The course will thus provide a broad functional training without an definition of sectors or industries. It will thereby strengthen the sustainability of academic training and enable a more flexible organisation of vocational career.

Application period to end 15 July

Since 1996, HAW Hamburg has been running a bilingual bachelor’s degree program Foreign Trade / International Management (B.Sc.) with great success. In addition to multinational corporations, also small and medium-sized companies experience a steadily increasing demand for scientifically qualified junior managers with international skillsl. With the new master’s degree program, the Department of Economics will meet the demand. The program me “International Business” (M.Sc.) will start in the winter semester. Applications are accepted until 15 July 2014.
