Double Victory for STILL

Hamburg-based forklift manufacturer honoured with two coveted awards at the International Forklift Truck of the Year Award (IFOY Award) in Munich

This prestigious award, already in its third year, is conferred under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, with sponsorship from the Materials Handling and Intralogistics Sector Association of the German Engineering Association (VDMA) and further support from CeMAT and a number of other partners.

Named Winner after one Week of Testing

STILL’s RX 60-80 electric forklift truck STILL’s RX 60-80 electric forklift truck was named the winner in the ‘Counterbalanced Forklift Trucks over 3.5 t’ category, which is the most important category in the whole competition according to Dorothee Baer, speaker at the award ceremony and Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for Transport and Digital Infrastructure. In order to decide on the winners, the IFOY Awards’ international panel of experts subjected the nominated forklift trucks to tests over the course of a week at the site of official logistics partner Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Osnabrueck in February.

New Benchmark in Logistics

STILL’s second IFOY Award was in the ‘Intralogistics Solutions’ category, which sees the jury assess the level of innovation, customer benefit, sustainability and marketability for integrated overall intralogistics solutions. The award went to the system solution developed for an automatic raw materials warehouse belonging to plastic film manufacturer Kuraray Trosifol, which STILL designed and implemented in just nine weeks in Troisdorf.

In early April, STILL has already been granted two awards for innovative automated warehouse solutions
at the IntraLogisteX in Coventry, Great Britain
