Industry 4.0 At The 24th Hamburg Logistics Colloqium

The Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and the Research Society of Logistics will jointly host an industry meeting on today's challenges in production and logistics on 26 February 2015.

High demands are placed on the production of the future: it should be smart, convertible, sustainable, and efficient. Industry 4.0 is for the intelligent networking of product development, production, logistics and customer. The Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and the Research Society of Logistics will thus jointly host the 24th Logistics Colloquium Hamburg logistics and dedicate it to “Industry 4.0.”

Industry 4.0 – What Is Required?

The dynamics of markets continues to grow. Companies must be flexible to be able to respond to and manufacture thee diversity of customer-driven products e. At the same time, demands on the production and transport logistics will grow. Products are expected to be alway available always and everywhere, and at reasonable prices. Under the motto “Industry 4.0 – Production and logistics of the future”, companies and institutions will discuss the fundamental shift of paradigms and today’s drivers of innovation in production and transport logistics. New requirements, dimensions, and applications in the enterprise will then be defined. In addition, methods and implementation strategies are being presented and discussed.
