The German government is conducting an online survey on blockchain technology to develop a strategy by mid 2019. The Hanseatic Blockchain Institute, in existence since mid January, has set itself the goal of making Hamburg an international hotspot of the industry. The association, which is based in HafenCity, has set itself the goal of making disruptive technology better known and promoting understanding. To highlight the opportunities and possible applications for society and business, public workshops and lectures on the subject will be held immediately. Then, innovative examples of application in health care or the blockchain potential in Smart Mobility will be discussed.
