On 30 June 2015, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce will be honouring young internationnal talent with the 12th Hamburg Animation Award. This year, 330 entries from 47 countries were submitted to the contest, and thus significantly more than last year. From all short films and games, primarily acquisition and training projects submitted by young animators. As the only German team that made it to the finals, Beate Höller and Ihabo Azzamo from the Hamburg Animation School Hamburg, will be competing with “Guts” against international competitors from France, Denmark, Finland, Canada, and the U.S.
