With the new digital magazine “uniFIED”, nextMedia.Hamburg introduced an innovative tool for the presentation of multimedia stories on the Internet. The magazine reflects the claim of the initiative, not only to support and promote new media companies and ideas, but also to bring them alive through novel formats and approaches. According to nextMedia.Hamburg, uniFIED is one of the first online publications to use Page Flow, a responsive authoring tool for the processing of multimedia content developed by the West German broadcaster WDR.
Focus on digital innovators and innovations
Thematically, the first edition is dedicated to innovations in the media. People featured in uniFIED include the two founders of the new science magazine “Substance”, Denis Dilba and Georg Dahm. Also portrayed are the deputy editor of the magazine “Stern”, Anita Zielina, the managing director of dap’s multimedia division dpa-infocom, Meinolf Ellers, and Carolin Neumann, head of Vocer Innovation Labs.
