Klaus Haasis, one of the new shareholders and an experienced innovations manager, business angel and coach said: “As an investor, I have accompanied company foundings by Hanse Ventures over the last seven years. A passionate company builder has emerged. Hanse Ventures offers start-ups an ideal platform with all the important components such as idea, founders, capital and professional and operational supports.” The other new shareholders are Christoph Kroschke, a family entrepreneur whose group of companies provides automotive services, and Dr. Henning Pentzlin, a business angel who has accompanied several business creations in the energy, cleantech, medtech and internet sectors.
“Our new shareholders are outstanding personalities. We are expanding our skills by adding an experienced family entrepreneur, a start-up coach and investors who have already shown a good nose and plenty of tact,” said Dr. Bernd Kundrun (former CEO of Gruner & Jahr) who has been with Hanse Ventures from the start along with Rolf Schmidt-Holtz (former CEO of Sony Music).
All of the existing investors as well as Marvin D. Andrä, a former investment manager at High-Tech Gründerfonds, took part in the latest round of financing. Andrä has been a member of management at Hanse Ventures along with Jochen Maaß and Tobias Seikel since 2017. Maaß noted: “The digitalisation of business processes still offers enormous potential for growth which we can knuckle down and use with our start-ups and partners.”
