Spryker gets USD 22 million investment

E-commerce start-up now aiming for international expansion

The Hamburg-based, e-commerce Spryker start-up has received a cash injection of USD 22 million in growth capital from One Peak Partners in London and Project A – the second investment from the venture capitalist. Spryker will put the funds towards international expansion, a press release said Wednesday (February 14, 2018).

Pushing ahead with internationalisation

Alexander Graf, founder of Spryker, commented: “Spryker has become a point of reference on the German-speaking market when it comes to the choice of commerce technology for big companies. The investment will help us to forge into new markets and accelerate new product development. “

Software kit and language management

Founded in 2014 by Graf, Boris Lokschin and Fabian Wesner, Spryker provides software kits for companies that want to set up their own web shops. The modules can be individualised to suit a company. The start-up also has more e-commerce applications such as language management. Spryker employs over 100 staff at branches in Hamburg and Berlin. The clients include companies like Bosch and Tom Tailor.
