New YOJO talent pool

New, protected area on YOJO facilitates direct contact between jobseekers and companies

The new YOJO-Young Jobs Hamburg launched by Hamburg Invest now eases contact between job seekers and companies across the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Job seekers can register free of charge and enter their qualifications, professional experience and career aspirations on a protected part of the website. Until now, only companies could register profiles there free of charge and manage job advertisements. Companies registered on YOJO can now access this talent pool, search for potential employees and contact them directly.

Direct contact possible

Commenting on the platform, Dr. Rolf Strittmatter, Managing Director of Hamburg Invest, said: “It is becoming increasingly difficult for companies in some sectors to find skilled workers in the traditional way. YOJO’s talent pool gives them the opportunity to make direct contact with suitable employees.” Career beginners and job seekers with professional experience can find information about employers in diverse industries, job offers, vacant internships and upcoming events on www.yojo.de

About YOJO

Launched in June 2016, Hamburg Invest operates the YOJO platform and formed a collaboration with Süderelbe AG, the Lüneburg-Wolfsburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the districts of Stade, Harburg, Lüneburg and Lüchow-Dannenberg early in 2018. As part of the collaboration, YOJO is being increasingly used to market and attract qualified skilled workers to the region in a targeted manner.
