The search is on for Germany’s best cross-media campaign. Advertisers and their teams have until 7 November to submit their entries, which need to have involved at least three media channels and been launched between 16 June, 2013, and 31 October, 2014. There are a total of four awards to be presented on 27 November, including a young talent prize and a special award for the “Best Use of Mobile”. Winners will be chosen by both public voting and an expert jury of 16 media industry representatives led by Mirko Kaminski.
The Neptun Award, presented by Hamburg@work, is now in its ninth year and has established itself as a fixed event in the advertising industry’s calendar. Amongst last year’s winners were campaigns that went on to win international prizes, underlining the quality of the jury and the high level of the event. The Neptun Award and Neptun Grand Prix for 2013 both went to the Heimat Berlin team for the “Hornbach Hammer”, with the young talent prize going to Hugo Gstrein from the Miami Ad School. “Best Use of Mobile 2013” was awarded to Grabarz & Partner for their Golf VII app.
