TFO takes 25.1 per cent in the Hamburg start-Up "Channel Pilot"

E-Commerce provider Channel Pilot Solutions GmbH has successfully completed negotiations over a financing round. The Family Office TFO has absorbed 25.1 per cent of the company, with a multimillion euro investment. The board of directors will use this financing to further expand the company internationally. Adding to the company‘s existing offices in Hamburg, Paris and London, six additional offices will be set up in several cities around Europe.

Three Years Of Steady Growth

Founded in 2012 by Mirko Platz, Lars Niemann, and Ralf Priemer as an independent E-Commerce services provider with headquarters in Hamburg, ChannelPilot’s E-Commerce suite offers online shop owners a cloud-based tool for their business. It enables shop owners and mail order companies to expand their businesses way beyond their
own shop. Online shops are automatically connected not only to price comparison sites, but also to leading marketplaces such as Amazon or eBay. Furthermore, online shop owners can benefit from ChannelPilot‘s market price analysis tool, as well as the management of their Google Product Listing Ads and Dynamic Pricing. Awarded with several founder and company prices and recently honoured with the 2014 KFW founder award for Hamburg and the UnternehmerTUM‘s WECONOMY Award, the three-year old start-up today employs 40 staff.

Globalisation In Focus

We operate profitably as a company and we are very proud to have achieved new financial margins with TFO. We will now extend our market leadership internationally with an experienced and strong partner at our side.“ Ini 2015, eight countries will be added to the network, with offices in Italien and Spain to open this month,, followed by branches in the U.K. and Great Britain in April. Also in the focus of expansion plans are the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, and even China.
