Barely a year after its launch, eatclever’s delivery service is available in seven German cities. With the expansion to Stuttgart and Munich builds the Hamburg Startup his offer from two other cities. The principle seems to work: As an alternative to frozen food and pizza, eatclever delivers healthy dishes cooked in co-operating restaurants according to proven recipes.
Perfect for your own Eating Plan
According to eatclever, all recipes were developed by nutrition experts and chefs. In addition to wraps, curries, and stir-fries, also soups, salads and desserts are offered. A special feature is the selection: when ordering, customers are able to choose the carbohydrate and protein content and select vegetarian or vegan dishes in order to make the delivery food meet their individual diet plan. Depending on preferences, extra portions of meat or tofu can be ordered.
eatclever was founded by Mohamed Chahin, Robin heaven and Marco Langoff, who turned their passion for cooking and eating into a profession in 2014. The motifs of the three complemented each other. While Marco Langoff was looking for a solution for his unhealthy diet due to a stressful working day, Mohamed Chahin knew the basics of food logistics already from his experiences as a pizza delivery man. Last but not least, Robin Heaven developed his passion for cooking and preparing the perfect dinners while studying.
Vegetables on the windowsill
Once ordered through eatclever’s website, dishes will be cooked in local restaurants and delivered within 50 minutes. Next to expanding to new locations, the founders are also working on new recipes and additional payment options, which are currently still limited to cash and EC. The eatclever blog provide infos and news on healthy eating and living on a regular basis, including presentations of trendy sports such as Stand Up Paddling, advices on vegetable growing on the windowsill, and new tempting dishes added to the range.
