Following the success of Pause Forward TEDxHamburg is entering the next round with a TEDxHamburgSalon on November 6th, 2016 under the theme “Hack Your Mind” in the Hochbunker Heiligengeistfeld. International keynote speakers from technology, entertainment and design will encourage delegates to think bigger and discover new territory. Networking, exchanging ideas with potential for profound change are vital to the conference. This year’s speakers include Mirko Bass, a Cisco Systems’ business evangelist who initiated the Refugee First Response Center with Harald Neidhardt, founder of MLOVE. Other keynote speakers such as Annika Grosse, IBM Executive Partner and Frank Steinicke, professor of Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Hamburg will acquaint guests with their innovation-orientated strategies.

Processing digitalised data in a modern way

Outstanding, winning projects in the six-week Coding Da Vinci event will receive awards. Launched in 2014 in Berlin, the event aims to bring cultural heritage institutions in northern Germany and hackers and designers together to develop ideas and prototypes and shed new light on the cultural sector and the public.

About TED conferences

The New York-based TED is a non-profit organisation devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world. Since 2009, red onion has been host and curator of TEDxBerlin and TEDxHamburg conferencs licensed by the U.S. TED organisation. More information can be found on:
