The Music WorX Pitch is the conclusion of this year’s Music WorX Accelerator. During the three-month support programme, three start-ups bandnova (Hamburg), Fanvestory (Estonia) and laleby (Hamburg) took part in workshops, were coached by industry experts and availed of free office space and financial support to develop their business models. As part of another application procedure, Estonia’s Ridline, Norway’s Requestify and Turkey’s Epiqur also qualified for the pitch.

Funding innovativon

The Ministry for Culture and Media has sponsored young companies in the music sector with the programme since 2011 and has held the Music WorX Accelerator with the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft since 2014. The accelerator has been open to international start-ups, who wish to operate in Hamburg, since 2017. Successful companies such as Sofa Concerts, Tinitracks, Addact and NOYS VR have already been supported as part of the programme.
