As winner of the Start-up Pitch at Hamburger betahaus held at 13 January 2015, minubo GmbH will be one of the three start-ups to represent Hamburg at South by South West (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. Together with Tinnitracks and TripRebel, minubo will showcase its assets as participant of the SXSW Accelerator at the German Startup Engine in front of investors and experts.
To Close The Gap For Medium-Size Online Shops
Minubo is a spin-off of the nextel BI Solutions GmbH that develops individual BI solutions for online shops. Reference projects include Deerberg, Flaconi, Frontlineshop, mirapodo, Mister Spex, Tennis-Point, and vinos.de. Lead by its founders and managing directors Michael vom Sondern and Lennard Stoever, CTO and co-founder Ole Golombek as well as VP Product Dennis Heinbokel, a team of 30 full-time staff, an intern, and two apprentices is currently implementing and expanding minubo’s innovative business idea: to offer business intelligence solutions, so far mostly only accessible to big players such as Ebay and Amazon, to small online shops. Minubo thus developed a cloud-hosted solution that keeps online retailers free from server, maintenance and project costs and additionally allows every shop – whether it be big or small – to start with the analysis of its data within just a couple of days. Prices start at 299 euro per month.
Investors And Internationalisation Confirm Business Model
Minubo’s business idea anc concept has been confirmed by the great interest of investors from its very start. After its admission to the London seed investment fund Seedcamp in February 2013, a seven-figure seed invest of well-known German, British and US investors followed in August 2013 as well as the qualification for the German Silicon Valley Accelerator in October 2013 – an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology for the successful establishment of German technology startups in Silicon Valley. Now, minubo is looking forward to presenting itself to U.S. investors at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
