The Hamburg-based start-up NAS Smart Platforms GmbH is now offering an app called bundle, which complies with data protection regulations. This comes after several German companies including automotive supplier Continental banned its employees in June from using WhatsApp messenger owing to concerns about data protection, the weekly Focus magazine reported. Bundle combines chat and voice messages, notes, photos, tasks, scheduling, voting and important functions for teamwork without advertising. The company’s servers are located in Germany.
Transparent and safe
The app is used by over 1,400 users daily with over 11,000 documents shared and more than 7,000 surveys have been created. The company’s business model is just as transparent as the TÜV-tested information system. Apart from a version for small and private teams, the bundle can be used as an individual solution for companies. “The potential of Bundle is based on the great upheavals in the world of work in the coming years. The app was designed with this in mind,” says Bertram Neite, Managing Director of NAS Smart Platforms GmbH.
