Hamburg Marketing GmbH (HMG) has been named winner of the biggest corporate publishing competition in Europe. Created TEMPUS CORPORATE, a corporate publishing subsidiary of TIME publishing, on behalf of Hamburg Marketing GmbH, Hamburg: The Magazine of the Metropolis”, was honoured with the “Best of Corporate Publishing Award” in Gold.
In the category “B2C tourism”, the magazine successfully competed against formats by Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Zurich Tourism and the Luxavation Group. In late summer, the second edition of the current year will be publishe. Each year, the best corporate publishing products from German-speaking countries are honoured with the prestigious award granted by the Forum Corporate Publishing in co-operation with the leading industry magazines acquisa, Horizont, w & v and Schweizer Werbewoche. This year, the jury – some 140 well-known experts from journalism, art direction, marketing, and corporate communications – had to sort out 600 submissions in 29 categories. “Hamburg: The Magazine from the Metropolis Hamburg” was declared the winner on Thursday night at the awards ceremony in Munich. The jury stated: “Hamburg: The Magazine from the metropolitan region” is a perfect appetizer for Hamburg travellers, Hamburg locals. and, fans of the city – and clearly journalistic and quality in the design”.

Since its 2006 launch, “Hamburg: The Magazine from the Metropolis” has been published in 33 editions. The current issue has been added to the total circulation of the Hamburg weekly “Die Zeit” (Germany / except for Berlin, Austria and Switzerland) the German daily “Der Tagesspiegel”, the Austrian newspaper “Der Standard”, and the Swiss daily “Neue Zürcher Zeitung”. Since the beginning of 2013, TEMPUS CORPORATE has been in charge of the magazine with a circulation of up to a million copies.
