Wizz Air offering three new destinations from Hamburg Airport
Hungary's Wizz Air is offering flights to Lviv in the Ukraine, Chişinău in Moldova and Belgrade in Serbia from Hamburg Airport after resuming operations in July in time for summer holiday traffic. The airline will fly to the Albanian capital Tirana twice a week from July 24, 2020 and four times per week to the Romanian capital Bucharest from August.
Nine destinations in eastern and south-eastern Europe
Wizz Air has also resumed flights to popular destinations that were served from Hamburg before the travel restrictions began in early June. These include three flights per week to Skopje in Macedonia and Kiev and twice a week to Varna in Bulgaria. The airline will resume five weekly flights to Gdansk in Poland bringing the total number of its eastern and south-eastern European destinations to nine.
Passengers keen on flights
"The fact that Wizz Air is resuming its flight operations from Hamburg Airport and even expanding its commitment with three brand new destinations is a very good sign for our passengers," said Gesa Zaremba, Senior Manager of Traffic Development at Hamburg Airport. "Our clear hygiene and security measures are making it possible for passengers to travel safely and comfortably."
