Harburg to get 12 mobility points in 2023

Twelve additional mobility points will be available in Harburg this year thanks to the HVV Switch app. Car sharing providers such as Sixt or Miles can then be accessed on the app making for more flexible transport offers in the south.

New mobility concepts for south

The expanded transport offers are part of the "Strengthening Municipal Governance for the Implementation of New Mobility Offers" (KoGoMo) research project. The City of Hamburg and companies are working with the Technical University of Hamburg to develop new mobility concepts in the Reallabor Hamburg-Harburg as part of the project.

HVV Switch bundles mobility offers

Harburg's first HVV Switch point was set up at the same-named S-Bahn station in 2013. The app bundles transport offers including trains and underground trains in residential areas and shows free parking spaces and where rental cars and e-scooters can be found.
