Relaunched university portal offering improved data
The University of Hamburg's "Research Information" portal is now offering details of over 56,500 publications, around 1,850 projects and 91 patents to alleviate research for scientists, companies and students.
The University of Hamburg is globally renowned for its four clusters of excellence, five research areas and another five areas of potential. More than 4,400 researchers at eight faculties conduct research beyond the areas of excellence Photon and Nanosciences, Manuscript and Climate Research or Quantum Universe. The revised details can now be found in the database. "It is of interest to researchers at our university and other institutions who are looking for research or collaboration opportunities. The overview of scientific publications or patents registered at the university can be very important for companies," said Dr Stefan Thiemann, Head of the Centre for Sustainable Research Data Management at the university.
International collaborations on interactive world map
The relaunched database provides information on the contents and results of more than 1,850 projects and over 56,500 publications. The search options are supplemented by links to prizes and awards, scientific patents and general research data. The university's diverse international collaborations are shown on a world map. The portal's data goes back to around 2010.
