The upcoming solutions.hamburg 2016 will highlight digitalisation as both a team-building and crucial technological effort for success. Technical transformation can only be achieved when the diverse faculties pull together, the thesis goes. More than 300 keynote speakers at the event from September 7-9, 2016 include Olaf Scholz, Mayor of Hamburg, Frank Horch, Senator for Economics, Sascha Lobo, journalist, and Heiner Brand, winner of the world handball championship. The various aspects of digitalisation and practical insights will be highlighted in over 300 sessions. Last year, over 2,000 visitors attended some 250 talks and addresses by 300 keynote speakers at Hamburg’s Kulturzentrum Kampnagel.
First digital health dialogue at solutions.hamburg
The highlights of the three-day event include the fach.konferenz or conference of professionals to which 20 partner companies from various sectors will contribute knowledge and know-how for successful digitalisation. Another event called the experten.werkstatt or experts workshop will give senior developers and architects a chance to exchange views on IT in small groups.
The five theme parks (themen.parks) at solutions.hamburg offer improvised talks and panel discussions on logistics, ehealth, internationalisation and Industry 4.0. International exhibitors will outline the cross-sector opportunities offered by digitalisation. Silpion Events GmbH is holding the first Digital Health Dialogue on September 9th. The event will highlight the effects of digital processes and work methods in the medical sector on people and any resulting opportunities for the health sector.
Universities, colleges, start-ups and smart city projects
The “Day of Mid-Sized Sector” will look at challenges facing SMEs. A special networking offer by the Hamburg economic cluster offers firms contacts to help implement their projects. An exhibition area focusing on universities, colleges, start-ups and smart city projects rounds off the talks. The exhibitors include well-known firms in the Hamburg start-up scene such as the Industry 4.0 company Cybus, SpiceVR, the developer of the “Spherie” drone and the connected-health.eu GmbH (LifeTime App).
