Second Planing Workshop "Olympic City" with Hamburg Locals

True to its vision of hosting the 2024 Summer Games as "Allympics", Hamburg is inviting its residents to actively contribute to shaping Hamburg's Olympic City

Hamburg is the official German nominee for hosting the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. To prepare the games, the city is actively asking its locals to participate in all planning from the very start. “Allympics” is the vision: games for and by the people. On 23 June, the architects and planners involved will invite the general public to view and discussing the draft of the future masterplan for Kleiner Grasbrook and to hear about latest developments in regard to Hamburg’s Olympic bid.

Modified Master Plan to be Discussed by Citizens

On Tuesday, 23 June 2015, the Hamburg Ministry of Urban Development and Environment (BSU) will be hosting the second public workshop cum panel discussion on the construction of the Olympic City at the Cruise Center HafenCity. There, planners will present their latest ideas for discussion. In addition, first thoughts on the transport infrastructure of Kleiner Grasbrook for the period of the games and afterwards will also be explained in detail. On 2 June 2015, the architects in charge of the planning had unveiled several options for the construction of the Olympic City in a first info meeting hosted by BSU.
