“Street Food” is the name of the trend that is conquering Germany. Creative snacks and full meals, prepared with fresh healthy food by mobile trucks, often creatively adornished, are the hottest thing to have this summer. The food trucks, so far famous for the U.S., have meanwhile not only conquered the hearts of locals at Nuremberg, Berlin and Munich, but also in Hamburg. In addition to numerous street food events, the second Food Truck Festival St. Pauli will be celebrating the exciting culinary trend from 11 to 13 September during the Hamburg Cruise Days.

Highlight of this summer will surely be the festival at Spielbudenplatz. Organisers are expecting “the largest food truck fleet that has been seen in Hamburg”, with 30 mobile food kitchens setting up campt to cook at Spielbudenplatz.

The first Food Truck Festival St. Pauli took place in May 2015 and proved the success of the concept. Against tired legs will help a large table at which the hungry guests will find plenty of seating. Live acts and DJs provide musical boarding.
