Over 40,000 marketing aficionados are expected at this year’s Online Marketing Rockstars Festival from March 22-23 in the Hamburg Convention Centre. The organisers are expecting a clear rise in visitor numbers over 2017 and are promising prospects and anecdotes about all the latest marketing issues. The festival and expo serves as a platform for established firms and aspiring start-ups. The OMR conference is a regular highlight and presents many international speakers from all kinds of backgrounds.
Exhibitors include Adobe, the Otto Group, Ströer media and Deutsche Post as well as giants like Google, Facebook and IBM. Philipp Westermeyer, a graduate of the Hamburg Media School, established the festival in 2010 with the school.
120 master classes, guided tours and side events
The OMR Festival offers no less than 120 master classes or 90-minute seminars given by professionals and focusing on content marketing, e-commerce and social media. Guided tours across the OMR Expo give an overview of 300 exhibitors. Online marketing experts lead small groups to thematically grouped exhibitors and for an inside look at the digital marketing scene. Side events give delegates plenty of room to network.
