The 15th “Manufacturing Trade Fair in the North” opens on January 26, 2016, at Hamburg’s exhibition centre and will bring together decision-makers and experts from modern production sectors until January 29. The fair will also include special shows and talks on up-to-date issues such as 3D printing and Industry 4.0. The Hamburg exhibition centre is expecting record exhibitor numbers this year with over 450 companies from 16 countries at Nortec.
Customer Integrated Solutions
State Councillor Dr. Rolf Basinger, of the Ministry of Economic and Labour Affairs of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, will open Nortec at 9.30 am on January 26, 2016 in Hall A3. The Nortec Award, which distinguishes innovative idea and outstanding solutions in Customer Integrated Solutions, will also be presented during the opening ceremony. The award, now in it’s fourth edition, is made by Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH and the trade magazine, Produktion.
New partners from north Germany
Around 30 cooperation partners from renewable energy, medical technology, IT, electronics manufacturing and aviation technology will attend Nortec. Danish Business Day
Nortec has long since become a key event for international networking and as a bridge to northern European countries and to Scandinavia. This year, there will be a joint Dutch stand. Denmark’s HanseBelt will also attend along with the components supplier association. German-Danish collaboration will be the main focus of Danish Business Day on January 27, 2016.
