newTV Congress 2015 Is Dedicated To The Future of the Moving Image

On 23 April 2015, the newTV focus group will host its annual congress at Hamburg's Free Academy of Fine Arts. Focal theme is the monetisation of content

International experts meet strategists of German TV stations at this year’s newTV Congress at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg, where interactive formats and the changing media consumption habits will be discussed. The event is open to all dealing with the digital moving image in their daily work.

Future of Payment Models

Organised by nextmedia.Hamburg’s newTV focus group, the congress focusses on the transformation of advertising and payment models. True to the event’s motto “Monetisation of Content – Payment and Advertising Models”, market developments, investment of marketing budgets and content bookings are being discussed. Also on the agenda are the impact of on-demand and streaming offerings on advertising and subscription revenues.

Insights And Best Practices

In addition to insights into the strategies of influential industry players, best practices showcasing the relationship between content and technology will be presented. Amongst others, Jens-Uwe Steffens (Founder and CEO, pilot) and Thorsten Schütte (Chief Executive, smart clip AG) will talk on the topic of “Addressable TV”, while Stefano France (International Content COO, Orange – France Telecom) will try to answer the question “How to finance the moving image in the future”.
