New registrations in the motorhome and caravan sector rose 14 per cent in the first half of 2018 indicating Germans’ ongoing enthusiasm for camping, according the Caravaning Industrie Verband. All signs are pointing to growth at Caravaning Hamburg underway from February 6-10, 2019 at the Hamburg Messe und Congress. The FreizeitWelt für Camper will show more offers in an additional exhibition hall featuring recreational vehicles, bullis and focusing on vehicle conversion.
Big season opener in the north
“The north Germans are extremely enterprising and camping enthusiasts. In the new Hall A2, they will find all novelties from manufacturers of leisure vehicles and suppliers of individually equipped vehicles under one roof. Additionally we create a balanced tour for the visitors with the allocation of the complete A area,” said Heiko Zimmermann, Manager of Caravaning Hamburg.

Caravaning Hamburg is part of “oohhh – Die Freizeitwelten der Hamburg Messe” underway in February. Then, five fairs focusing on diverse leisure activities will take centre stage: Reisen Hamburg, Kreuzfahrtwelt Hamburg, Rad Hamburg, Forohaven Hamburg and Caravaning Hamburg. More than 800 international exhibitors are expected in the exhibition halls.
