After the outdoor season of summer, organisers of corporate events are now looking again for unique indoor venues. Hamburg offers an almost inexhaustible selection – from top bars with views of the Alster or port to old harbour warehouses, floating conference rooms – and the kitchen of a five star hotel. The Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten on the Inner Alster has recently remodeled its entire 600 square metre kitchen area as an event location
Four kitchen theme worlds
All of the kitchens have been designed along the lines of different themed worlds and in specific styles: in the patisserie, gleaming chandeliers, playful wallpaper designs, retro kitchen appliances and tasteful decorations are setting the stage for baking and chocolate-making seminars. A special highlight is the Jahreszeiten Küchenstube with its rustic and yet modern charm, featuring ceiling lamps made of horn, an original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock, a small fountain, as well as a huge wall painting that depicts roaring stags.
Rustic or elegant: which ambiance are you looking for?
The raised table area offers room for social gatherings such as fondue dinners or Bavarian nights, but also for cocktail receptions with live music or a more formal dinner for up to 30 guests. To complement the restaurant’s Art Deco style, the kitchen of the Jahreszeiten Grill has also been redesigned, providing culinary delights for up to 15 guests. In the kitchen of the award-winning restaurant Haerlin, the exclusive Chef’s Table can be set for 8 to 15 guests upon request. In total, the room can cater for events with up to 160 guests. And even in the Café Royal, the hotel’s staff restaurant, external guests can celebrate their very own kitchen party
