The Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and the Information Technology Society (ITG) are jointly hosting the 10th International Conference on Systems, Communications and Coding (SCC), which will take place in Hamburg until 5 February 2015. The expert meeting with more than 150 participants is organised by TUHH’s Institute for Telecommunications.
Meeting Of Experts On Communication Technology
The SCC offers scientists an insight into the current state of research and development in the subject area of communications technology. The SCC especially pursues the goal of bridging theory and application, academic research and industry, and to bring together different disciplines within the communication technology. Internationally distinguished speakers have been contracted for tutorials and lectures. “I am very pleased that the interdisciplinary conference is being held at the TUHH. The technical developments in the field of engineering is so fast that we need to work on answers for tomorrow as rapidly as possible”,, says Prof. Garabed Antranikian, President of the TUHH.
Make Communication Safer
The conference will include all types of communication systems, i.e. radio systems, fiber optic systems, wireless optical systems, satellite communications, vehicle-to-vehicle communication, sensor networks, self-organising networks, and navigation tools. Special emphasis is placed on information theory and coding, secure transmission and encryption as well as signal processing and transmission methods.Social highlight of the four-day conference will be an evening event reception aboard Hambur’s floating museum SS Rickmer Rickmers.
Every Two Years
The SCC is organised every two years by the Information Technology Society (ITG) in co-operation with the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE). Technical co-sponsorship is provided by the International Association of Electrical Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
