The 16th Hamburg IT Strategy Days gets underway from February 22-23, 2018 in the Hotel Grand Elysée under the theme “The next level of innovation – from laboratories to business”. Over 750 delegates from the IT sector and expert visitors are expected at the congress. The agenda features discussions about the latest strategies and demands as well as how management approaches more efficient IT structures and the advantages for new business models in the wake of digitalisation.
Speakers at the conference include Prof. Dr. Gunter Dueck, a philosopher and bestseller author, who will talk about whether disruption is really coming from IT. Dr. Christian Langer, Vice President Digital Strategy, Innovation and Transformation, Lufthansa Group, will highlight “Perspectives of Digitalisation”. Dr. Michael Müller-Wünsch, Director of Technology at OTTO, will talk about how the company went from “online business to platform”. Dr. Bettina Uhlich, CIO und Head of Global IT & Processes at Evonik, will outline how she made digitalisation a business.
The IT Strategy Days include two new events this year. The IT Strategy-Radar includes introductory speeches and Q&A sessions. Holger Ewald, CIO of Kuka, Prof. Dr. Markus Warg, Board Member SIGNAL IDUNA, and Klaus Straub, CIO of BMW Group, will take part in the first “radar”. Hamburg’s new Chief Digital Officer Christian Pfromm, Dr. Elmar Pritsch, Group CIO of Robert Bosch, and Lothar Engelke, member of management at ITERGO will take part in the second “radar” on Friday.
