The company is heading for new record revenues of about 94.7 million euro, with new events and the greatest frequency of events since the start of its history. New major events and the start of planning for modernisation of the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH) provide the foundation for this positive outlook.
In 2013, HMC suceeded in bringing a number of new events to Hamburg on a long-term basis. They include WindEnergy Hamburg, starting in 2014 as key meeting place for the onshore and offshore wind industry. Developed jointly with Messe Husum as co-operation partner, its concept secures the world’s leading wind industry fair for North Germany. The new regional lifestyle fair Nordstil celebrated its successful premiere on the Hamburg fair ground in January. Another new guest event was the consumer show Hanse Spirit held in winter.
From 1-3 April 2014, the new lead fair in-cosmetics will showcase raw materials and ingredients used in cosmetics, toiletries and personal care. From 4-6 November, transfairlog, Trade Fair for International Transport and Logistics Management, will return to the Hamburg fair grounds. Last but not least, HMC is also full on track in the AGM sector, with Deutsche Lufthansa AG won as a new client for CCH.
