Go "Holy Shit Shopping" for Xmas gifts

Germany's big art and design market goes on Christmas tour

The “Holy Shit Shopping” tour stops off in Hamburg’s fairgrounds (Hall B) from December 15-16, 2018. Doors open from 12 am on two floors covering 6,000 square metres. Since 2004, Holy Shit Shopping has offered an alternative to Christmas shopping transforming unusual locations in Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Cologne into huge creative department stores for a weekend.

Unusual shopping spree

The pre-Christmas fair pools lifestyle products, fashion, jewellery, furniture and design, art, photography, literature and delicacies with a street food market and pop music in one venue. Individual gifts can be found for every taste while DJs play the latest beats in the background. Over 320 international designers are expected at the fair. All purchases benefit the creative scene and small manufacturers. Several bars and lounges will be selling mulled wine and other drinks in a festive atmosphere.

Christmas networking

“Holy Shit Shopping” brings gallerists and artists, designers and shop managers together. Good ideas need sales channels and the fair gives young designers a chance to meet the public. Visitors have an opportunity to purchase works by young designers and lesser-known artists and to support newcomers to the creative scene. The synergies of design, art, music, drink and food transform unusual locations into gigantic pop-up design emporiums. The Holy Shit Shopping tour travels to Berlin from December 8-9, 2018.
