Trade fair highlights digitisation in building industry

The sixth Get Nord gets underway in Hamburg’s fairgrounds from November 22-24, 2018 with emphasis on digitisation within buildings and intermeshing various trades. Around 550 exhibitors will be presenting innovative solutions and the latest products for energy efficiency, renewable energies, energy management, building systems technology and equipment.

Exploiting market potential

According to a study of the eco – by the consulting firm Arthur D. Little, EUR 1.3 billion euros were invested in smart home solutions in Germany in 2017. By 2022, sales are expected to increase 26.7 per cent to EUR 4.3 billion. Most of this (30.2 per cent) will be in energy management followed by applications for lighting and window control (27.9 per cent) and security technology and access controls (18.6 per cent). Get Nord will pick up this trend and offer an overview of future-oriented building system solutions and innovative smart building technologies in Halls B4 and B5.

Diverse forums

The forums at Get Nord offer trade, industry, commerce, planners and architects an opportunity to proactively shape digital change together and to enter into dialogue with one another.
